16 Kids and Counting

  Last time---there were a lot of kids!  16 to be exact!  And Dove is expecting again---because---well----that's the whole idea of this challenge! lol


  I've been playing with NRaas StoryProgression genetics settings, trying to find the combo of numbers that gives me more diversity.  I figured this was the perfect test for it!

  I always swear I will not take any scenery pictures--but then I can't seem to help myself!!  Pretty! <3

Anywho---back to---Birthdays!!

 
  Eowyn ages up and gains the klepto trait.  The girl has got sticky fingers!

 

  Faramir gains the diva trait.  Um yeah, I can see it. XD

 

  Gandalf gets the mooch trait.

 

  and Hirluin gets the Equestrian trait.

 

  And finally!!  The A-D set reaches the Teen age.

  Avery (Jack's clone): can't stand art, bookworm, hot headed, animal lover

 

  Blossom: neat, daredevil, natural cook, savvy sculptor (isn't she pretty? <3 )

 

  Callum: flirty, daredevil, nurturing, grumpy

 

  and Dylan: flirty, handy, eccentric, dog person

 

  Gnomes play in the snow---

 

  Ack!  Who changed your hair Faramir?  I thought you were Gandalf at first--but Gandalf is doing his homework...

  Faramir: Dad, how long have you and Mom been married?

  Jack: Hmm, about 18 days.

  Faramir: ?!  How did you get so many of us in such a short time?

  Jack:  Er, well, *tugs at collar*  you see, uh, go ask your mother.

  Gandalf: ? 

 
  Homework.

 

  And yes I did destroy this beautiful house by adding in ugly Into the Future tube elevators.  They are handy and take up very little space, lol

  Finally!!  Off to the hospital she goes.

 

  Dove has 4 more babies---all girls!!  Quin, Rhiannon, Serendipity, and Tara.

  Most of this set look very similar to their mother, but here's a sneak peek at what Quin (I think it was Quin XD) grows up to look like.

 

  I saved her to my CAS bin. <3

  I am now officially caught up with myself to where I am in game!  Woot!  Which means there probably won't be an update on it for a while---I have some more stories to catch up on writing for first.

Baskets full of Babies

  Last time Jack and Dove had the first 4 kids out of 100, they still have some *cough* work to do, lol

Avery, Blossom, Callum, and Dylan had aged to toddlers---and Dove had 4 more babies named Eowyn, Faramir, Gandalf, and Hirluin.  What, you say?  I didn't show that last time?  Nah, I didn't.  You've seen one labor pic, you've seen them all.  I'm skipping through the boring stuff, lol

  Which basically consists of Dove bringing home baskets of babies (and then doing non stop feeding, cuddling, changing diapers of the babies/toddlers, and then skilling the toddlers).

  Like this one---which contains 4 more babies---Iris, Juniper, Kurt, and Liberty.

 

  Dove has arms like Hercules now! 

  It also means massive birthday pics!

  *takes deep breath*  Okay---ready, set, and goooooo!


  Avery ages up to a child, and gains the trait hot headed.

 

    Blossom follows him, and gains the natural cook trait.  Sweet!  One I can use!

 

  I'm liking this ABC order--much easier to keep these kids all straight! xD

  Callum is next, and he gains the nurturing trait, another handy trait!

 

  Dylan gains the eccentric trait.

 

  And of course--the E-H babies had birthdays---

  Eowyn: no sense of humor, easily impressed (she ought to be a joy!)

 

  Faramir: loves the heat, green thumb (I know who is going to garden in the summer)

 

  Gandalf: rebellious, loves the outdoors

 

  Hirluin: unlucky, eccentric

 

  Are you all still with me?  4 are children, 4 are toddlers, and 4 are babies.  Nobody sleeps in this household. 

  So---let's add some more!!! :P

 

  Jack: And someday, when we have enough money, we will buy more computers!

  Dylan and Blossom:  Neat!

  Jack: *nods*  It is, isn't it?

  Dylan:  We don't have to share with the babies do we?

  Blossom:  Yeah, they cry too much!

  Jack:  By the time we can afford more computers, they won't be babies anymore.

  Dylan and Blossom: Aww.  Bummer.


 

  Breeding sims and fish----why not gnomes?  I usually delete these buggers---but let's see how fast I can make a save crash and burn...

  Meet Serena and Sam, which one is which?  Your guess is as good as mine!

 

A little skill help from some EA store objects.  Not considered cheating in my opinion for this challenge save.

 

  The house is always a WIP---whenever they get a few bucks I change things around.  First thing added was speakers in all the rooms except bedrooms---so Dove can hear the kids station all the time---unless she is sleeping.  Apparently this speaker got in Hirluin's way---and he isn't even a fairy!

 

  Everyone is drafted to help out, lol

 

  Baby fail---good thing this isn't one of my ISBI challenges!

 

  Reptar:  Rwwwrrr!  I'm hungry!

 

  Dove brings home another basket with 4 babies: Meriadoc, Nimrod, Orald, and Pippin.  Which means---more birthdays!!!

  The I-L set become toddlers.

  Iris: family oriented, hot headed

 






  Juniper: unflirty, vehicle enthusiast (where did the blond hair come from?!)

 


  Kurt: loves the cold, loves the outdoors

 

  and Liberty: irresistible, animal lover

Guess what time it is?

  Baby Time!

  Things are moving right along.

  Dove was starving after puking (?!), she craved spaghetti in the worst way, so Jack being the good little husband he is, promptly makes her some spaghetti for dinner. 

 

  Looks...yummy. (?!)  Right?

  Right.  Jack cooks too slow, so Dove heads for devours whatever is in the fridge.

  Dove: I'm starving!

 

  I almost let them have a dog, or a cat, but then decided against it, because, once the kids start coming, there won't be any time for messing with pets.  So I got them a fish instead, Jack is quite excited about it.

  Jack: Woot!  Fish!

 

  Jack's wings started to glitch out on me, still haven't figured out why.  It's a little hard to tell in this picture, but they are blocky, like huge rectangles moving back and forth.  I can't stand the blocky, so I temporarily picked out a set of wings that didn't have that glitch.  Hopefully get it all sorted out soon.

  After dancing in the sheets---they have to dance on the porch.  So---maybe I put speakers in every room (including outside) except for the bedrooms.  Non-stop kid music.  24/7!

 
  Whoa!  That looks painful! O.o

 

  Whelp, she appears okay...

 

  Jack's a good hubby.

 
  Enjoying the calm before the baby storm...

 

  Labor pains hit her just as she gets home from work.  Doubtful I will show many of the labor pics---you've seen one, you've seen them all!

 

  Jack gets home from work a couple of minutes later.

 

  Jack:  Oh no!  You're having the baby now?  Here?!

  Dove: Don't be ridiculous---I'm going to the hospital.

  Jack: Oh, okay.  Then I'll just try to figure this ball thing out while you...*voice trails off*

 

  Dove: *from taxi*  Jack!  Get your a*s over here!  I'm not doing this alone!

  Jack: Yes Dear! *scurries over*

  ...several hours later...

  The first set of quads comes home!

 

  Jack decides they could use an extra set of hands to help out with the babies, and he builds Nanny Bot.

 

  Jack finally understands just what he is in for, lol

  Jack: *freaks out*

 

  Dove is feeling pukey again.

 

  Feeding/taking care of babies is boring to watch.  *hits fast forward*

  Birthdays!

  I followed ABCs on naming the kids---

  First born: Avery---can't stand art, bookworm

 

  2nd born: Blossom---neat, daredevil

  3rd born: Callum---flirty, daredevil


 

  4th born: Dylan---flirty, handy


 

  The house needed to be upgraded for toddlers.


 

  And---some toddler spam.
